The Friday market in Lourmarin was the most diverse so far — gorgeous vegetables and lovely fruits, meat and fish, Provençal linens and woven baskets, local artists displaying their pottery, and one of the things I was searching for — lavender honey!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such gorgeous asparagus!

Who wants to go to Provence with me just to go to the market and then go home to cook? Of course we’ll add cheese and wine!

Lourmarin shops are drop dead gorgeous before you even get in the door!

On to Lauris for dinner where we met Bernard, the owner of of Le Table de Margot, a delightful man and gracious host.
