While we are practicing our French, let’s have a little fun and listen to some French people try to say some English words. After watching this, it’s easy to realize that the French have just as much difficulty pronouncing English words as we do when trying to speak French. And in my experience, when in France or in any country, just trying makes a huge difference. When traveling I will often say a word and then ask, “Is that correct?” (en Français, “c’est correct?”) because I want to make sure I’ll pronounce it right. Et voila! Instant French lesson. Works every time.
