Fall is coming to the Provence markets! The outdoor weekly markets are beginning to display their cooler weather clothes, replacing the gauzy, breezy linens of summer. The colors are different, the fabrics are warmer, and it makes you want gather around a cozy fire and pour a glass of red wine. Maybe tell a story or two.
Love these fur-trimmed capes. They would look great for topping an office outfit as well as perfect for a fall weekend over a casual pair of jeans and boots. Capes lend a certain je ne sais quoi to whatever you’re wearing, don’t you agree?
Not sure how this hat would look on me, but love that fur pom-pom!
We enjoyed a short-lived teaser of some cooler weather and breezy, less humid days in Atlanta for a couple of weeks. Now it’s back to the last days of summer, and I for one can’t wait for autumn to arrive and stay. It’s my favorite season of the year. I can’t wait to bundle up, get cozy with a fire, wear my boots and see my breath when I blow it out. Hurry up First Day of Fall!
How about you, which is your favorite season?
I agree, fall is my favorite season, as well as my mom’s. I adore her mink pill box hat, as well as a collar, (and totally back in style now), as well as her cape. These are awesome pictures; the pom pom look is “way cool”.
Yes, a little bit of fur goes a long way. You must wear your vintage fur pieces when the weather cools off!
